That day when we were sitting in the park complaining about our lives and you told me to just drive, I honestly considered it. Just driving away from all of the little problems that procrastination has helped accumulate until we’re in the predicament we’re in now. An impromptu road trip - that would’ve solved it. No sure destination, no long goodbye letters, no packing up your favorite belongings, just getting up and leaving. As long as we made it there before sunset, then we could get a free reset on our lives, a blank slate, to live the rest of our lives…together I was hoping.
